GENERAL

  • Cape Town’s first dedicated Hot Kettlebell studio - a place where heat meets strength, cardio meets community, and sweat meets satisfaction.

  • Our three training pillars: Power (strength), Blast (Relentless Ripper - cardio), Burn (endurance). Every session hits all three.

    Our sessions hit every muscle and mindset - helping you get stronger, leaner, and sharper in just a few weeks (fuel it right, and the results speak for themselves).

  • We train in heat. We use kettlebells for everything - raw and pure fitness. And we actually care about good form, good music, and GREAT people.

  • Nope. You just need to show up. We and you, scale every move to your level.

  • Around 30–34°C - just enough to fire up your metabolism and make every rep count.

  • 50 minutes. Short, sharp, effective.

    After class, we build in five minutes just for you - time to breathe, stretch, and let your heart rate come down on your own. A moment to reflect, recover, and recognise the work you’ve just crushed.

  • Hell yes. You’ll learn fast and we’ll have your back (and your form).

    As we say at FORGE: “The greatest risk in life is not taking one.” Come down and take yours.

  • Not here. FORGE isn’t about racing the person next to you - it’s about focusing on you.

    Our sessions are designed so everyone can move at their own pace. The goal isn’t to finish first - it’s to move well. Good form always beats fast reps. You’ll get stronger, safer, and see real progress by doing each movement properly.

    So slow it down, tune in, and remember - progress is personal.

  • A towel, water/hydration drink, and a ‘LETS DO THIS’ attitude.

    P.S. Advanced members get free towel service. Need one? We’ve got rentals too.

  • 10–15 minutes before class starts - time to settle in, warm up, and meet the team.

HEAT, HYDRATION & RECOVERY

  • Between 30–34°C - it’s a warm challenge, not a sauna session.

  • Yes - absolutely. Our heat system is carefully controlled and fully ventilated, but always tune in to how your body feels.

    If you’re pregnant or managing any health conditions, it’s best to get the all-clear from your doctor first. And please inform us of any health conditions before each session. Your safety is our priority. ALWAYS.

  • You’ll adapt within a few sessions. The heat starts to feel addictive.

  • Take a break, sip some water, and breathe - our coaches are always there to look after you.

    After each block, whether it’s an AMRAP, EMOM, or circuit, you’ll get two minutes to recover - step outside the heated studio to cool down, or stay inside and take it at your own pace. This isn’t a bootcamp. We’ll never push you beyond your limit - only encourage you to find it.

  • Both. Hydrate well before, during, and after your session. You’ll be sweating plenty, so keep your electrolytes topped up throughout the day to stay balanced and energised.

  • Yes - you’ll find a range of hydration drinks and electrolytes at the front desk and in the café.

    We also serve our very own home-brewed Pickle Juice - free, natural electrolytes designed to help you replenish salts and recover faster. Take a shot after class… your body will thank you.

  • Of course. We’ve got refill stations ready.

TRAINING & CLASSES

  • Hot Kettlebell HIIT - a fusion of strength, cardio, and mobility, built around kettlebells and heat. Each session finishes with the Torque Relentless Rippers - a ski-style cardio device new to the South African market - used for that final all-out blast. Think of it like the WOD in CrossFit: the cherry on top.

    All in a heated studio designed to fire up your sweat, boost your burn, and have you leaving lean, refreshed, and ready to take on the day.

  • Both. You’ll build muscle, torch fat, and leave buzzing.

  • Yes - we teach you safe form before every class. Technique first, weight later.

  • Jump straight in - our coaches will guide you through everything.

    If you’d prefer a slower start, we also run a 50-minute BEGINNER session (Monday, Wednesday + Thursday at 10.30am - 11.20am) where our coaches cover the basics to help you feel confident, comfortable, and ready for the real thing.

  • Always. No two sessions are the same - your body keeps guessing.

    Our programming is designed to hit all major muscle groups across the week. That means every class challenges your full body, so even if you miss a day, you’ll still get balanced results by week’s end. It also keeps those who like to train solo on track - knowing their body’s had a complete, well-rounded workout at FORGE.

  • Definitely. We’ll adapt every move to keep you training safely.

    Just let your coach know before each session - we’ll keep an eye on you, make adjustments where needed, and ensure you get the most out of your workout.

    Your safety and progress are always our top priority.

  • Yes - join our HYROX POWER SESSION every Friday night (7-8pm) and Saturday (10-11am) and Sunday (10-11am). These classes include a run either before or after your Hot Kettlebell session, so don’t forget your trainers for this part!

    How does FORGE help me prepare for HYROX?
    Everything we do at FORGE complements HYROX training. Our Hot Kettlebell sessions build the exact strength, endurance, and conditioning you need to dominate each HYROX station.

    For example:
    Kettlebell Rows → Rower strength & posture
    Kettlebell Swings → Drive power for sled pushes & pulls
    Kettlebell Thrusters → Build explosive endurance for wall balls
    Goblet Squats → Leg endurance for the runs between stations
    Overhead Presses → Shoulder stamina for the wall ball & ski erg

    And of course, everyones favourite - BURPEES! We mix in a variety of bodyweight movements to get your whole body moving, building strength, coordination, and serious stamina.

    These are just a few moves that will help your HYROX training.

    Add in the heat, the controlled recovery windows, and the Torque Relentless Rippers finisher, and you’ve got a full-body conditioning system built to boost your HYROX performance.

  • Absolutely! We know how important it is to stay loose, mobile, and injury-free. Join us every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 AM – 11:20 AM for our dedicated mobility and stretch sessions - the perfect reset for your body.

  • Yes FOUNDERS OFFER - R750 unlimited for 1 week OR 10-class packs, and single drop-ins are all available.

  • Our classes run for 50 minutes, with an extra/optional 5 minutes after each section to do your own cool down, stretch and chill.

    We have 6 classes per day during the week, and 3 classes per day on the weekend.
    We also run 2x mobility classes per week and 2x beginners classes per week.

  • Cancel at least 6 hours before class to keep your credit.

    If you’re on an unlimited membership, please be mindful - a no-show means someone else misses their spot too. We get that life happens, but respect for your fellow members (and our coaches) keeps the community running strong.

  • Yes, just chat to us at reception.

  • Please do. Training’s better together. Just get them booked in on the Octiv app - and let us know as reception so we can ensure you guys are placed next to one another in the heated studio. Loves it!

WELLNESS & SAFETY

  • Yes - twice a weekly mobility and recovery classes to balance the burn.

  • If you’re pregnant, hypertensive, or have heart conditions, chat to your doctor first.

  • With clearance from your doctor - and plenty of support from us.

  • Yes - sign it once, you’re good to go.

  • Thoroughly, daily - sanitised kettlebells, mats, and air filters.

FOOTWEAR & CLOTHING

  • Come barefoot or wear flat-soled, barefoot-style shoes - you want grip and ground contact.

    We’re big fans of Vivobarefoot - their minimalist design helps you move naturally, build strength from the ground up, and connect properly with every lift and swing.

  • Absolutely!

  • Better balance, posture, and form - your feet are part of the workout.

  • Sure - but they will get sweaty!

  • Minimal, light, breathable gear. You’ll sweat - a lot.

  • While everything you need is provided in-studio, some members prefer to bring extra gear for comfort and support - for example  Bear Grips for wrist protection - totally optional, but great for reducing strain during kettlebell work, push-ups, and burpees.

  • Please bring your running shoes with you.

  • Yes - we love our merch!

FACILITIES & AMENITIES

  • Our changing rooms are sleek, clean, and stocked with all the essentials.

    We don’t have showers just YET - we’re still new, and these things take time to perfect. In the meantime, we’ve got you covered with chilled, scented towels post-class to help you freshen up after the heat.

  • Towels are included for our Advanced Members. For everyone else, there’s a small rental fee - or you’re welcome to bring your own.

    All members receive a chilled, scented towel after class to cool down and refresh post-workout.

  • Yes - mats are provided, cleaned, and refreshed after every session. They’ll be ready for you in the studio when you arrive.

    After class, we just ask that you place your mat neatly outside the heated room ready for the next session to be prepped.

  • Sure do!

    We also provide small lockable safe boxes you can bring into the gym - perfect for your phone, keys, and any jewellery you’re wearing during your session.

  • YES! We are proud to say we have plenty of secure parking around the gym.

  • Yes, filtered and chilled.

  • Absolutely - Kettle + Coffee is right inside.

    PROUDLY RUN BY THE COFFEE GUY.

  • Yes - our custom FORGE fragrance adds to the vibe. We also sell our fragrance at the front desk.

    We’re still new, but as our community grows, expect plenty of challenges, events, and Forge Games to keep you fired up. We’re all about building strength and connection - inside and outside the studio.
